The objects of the Society are:
(a) To become and remain registered with the Guild.
(b) To further the interests of enrolled students.
(c) To assist new students with orientation to the University.
(d) To encourage and promote cooperation between the Society and other Student societies.
(e) To do all things that are necessary and proper for the benefit and advancement of the Society and the Guild.
(f) To serve as a unique, inclusive environment for social interaction between all engineering students.
(g) To host a balanced array of social and professional networking events aimed at assisting engineering students from all disciplines to attain the most out of their university experience.
(h) To engage with industry leading companies, form corporate connections, and meet like-minded perople as part of one of the largest student clubs on campus.
(i) To offer a varity of events throughout the year including: BBQ on the Lawn (BOTL); Ignite Ball; Interview and Resume Workshops; Pub Crawls; Graduate panel and industry networking events; First year information seminars; and Quiz Nights.
